Ram Charan has registered yet another big hit with Racha, which is poised to enter the top 3 list of all times hits of Telugu cinema. Charan already holds the number 1 film record and with Racha he proved that he can be a super power at the box office without any help of any well known director. Charan’s talent was spotted by Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia and he is introducing him to B town with the film Zanjeer.

This is a remake of Amitabh’s yesteryear’s hit Zanjeer that earned him the angry young man image. Apoorva had a choice of approaching Abhishek Bachan to play the lead role in it. The director is a very good friend of Abhishek and he would have been a good choice to remake an Amitabh’s film. But Apoorva felt that only Ram Charan could be the new angry young man of Bollywood. The director and producer are taking a huge risk by roping in Charan, because he is a new face in Bollywood and it would have been easy for them to do good business if they do this film with any known Hindi actor.

But the director says that he couldn’t visualize anyone other than Charan in this role. This is an honor to a Telugu actor. Even Chiranjeevi didn’t command such respect from the Bollywood industry. Today Charan is getting a whopping price for doing this role. Dhammu to be censored on Thursday !

Young Tiger NTR and Boyapati Srinu’s Mass Masala Entertainer Dhammu is going to be censored on 19th of this month. Currently, the DI work of the movie is going on. The movie is in the last stages of post production. The first copy should be ready in a day or two. The movie is all set to release worldwide on April 27th. A massive release is being planned for the movie.

Trisha and Kartheeka will be seen as the love interests of NTR in this film and Boyapati Sreenu is the director. Alexander Vallabha is the producer of this movie and K.S.Rama Rao is presenting the movie on Creative Commercials Banner. MM Keeravani is rendering music.

Fans disappointed with Naga Chaitanya’s career planning !

Naga Chaitanya who made his debut with Josh subdued with the movie failing at the box office. Gautham Menon’s Yem Maaya chesave brought him the much needed success but not star image required for a Top hero’s son. He then attempted mass genre movies with Dhada and Bejawada but all went in vain. His latest under production movie ‘Autonagar Surya’ is also carrying negative reports in the industry much to the disappointment of the fans.

And the latest addition to the list of disappointments is his next movie ‘Gouravam’. The movie will be directed by Radha Mohan who directed movies like Aakshamantha, Gaganam. All the movies have earned critical acclaim but failed to rake good numbers at the box office. Hence, fans are feeling that the movie will not help Chaitanya’s career in terms of building star power.

Dharuvu is the free make of Yamadonga!

It is known that Ravi Teja’s Dharuvu is a socio fantasy movie. And the latest talk making rounds in Filmnagar is that the movie is a free make of NTR’s Yamadonga with some minor changes. Vetran actor Kaikala Satya Narayana is playing the character of Senior Yama while Tamil actor Prabhu is playing the JuniorYama.The movie had completed the shooting part and is currently in post production stage. The makers are planning to release the movie on May 4th.

Tapsee is the female lead. ‘Dharuvu is directed by Shiva and produced by Burugapalli Sivaramakrishna. This movie too has the Computer generated imagery technology involved in its making.

Will ‘SVSC’ score with Telugu audience?

One of the most talked about movies of the season is ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and while it is being discussed for its star power and the multi-star culture, there are those who are raising eyebrows over this project. Well, their doubt is, will a film with such a title work with the audience.

Apparently, some say the title is very outdated and they are not sure how the makers will justify the presence of such big heroes like Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh. The youth audience finds the title to be quite ancient. However, the film seems to be having its own sections of support too.

The family audience especially the lady audience is keen to watch the movie. While the presence of Mahesh Babu is one factor, the title looks quite traditional and this is appealing to them. While theh expectations are mixed on this one, if ‘SVSC’ clicks then it is sure to create a new history in Tollywood.

Daruvu, touted to be a socio-fantasy entertainer offers lot of special effects and graphics  and the makers are taking their time to bring a quality output says close sources from the unit. NTR Dubbing for Dammu Movie

Young Tiger Jr NTR's upcoming film 'Dammu' is in the last leg of its post production. The actor is dubbing his lines from couple of days and it is likely to be completed by tomorrow. Dammu has Trisha and Karthika as heroines opposite NTR and the movie is expected to release on April 27 amid huge expectations. Boyapati Sreenu wields the megaphone and Alexander Vallabha has produced the movie. MM Keeravani has scored the music for Dammu.

Adhinayakudu is a political drama with Nandi award winner Natasimha Balakrishna in triple roles followed by Lakshmi Rai, Jaya sudha, Sukanya, Kota SrinivasaRao, Brahmanandam, Charan Raj, MS Narayana, Venu Madhav and  Aditya Menon.

Adhinayakudu Directed by Paruchuri Murali who delivered powerful family dramas like Peda Babu, Andhrudu etc. and music scored by Kalyan Malik.

Pawan Kalyan and Shruthi Hassan starrer Gabbar Singh audio launch that was supposed to release on April 7 is now postponed to April 15. Added the audio will be launched in three cities on same day but yet to be announced by the makers.

Harish Shankar directed “Gabbar Singh” produced by Ganesh Babu has wrapped up a shooting schedule in Gujarat, where the introduction scenes were canned. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Racha super-positive Censor report

Seems like, Ram Charan is quite happy with the response from the Censor board members after watching Racha. “Censor just got done. Very positive report. Movie is all set and confirmed to release on 5th april. All the best to my team,” tweeted Charan.

Racha is one the most awaited films of the year and Charan’s film is releasing after 18 months gap. His last film ‘Orange’ hadn’t fared well at the Box Office and left fans disappointed. Charan waited for four months for the right script after ‘Orange’ failure. Finally, he gave his nod to the script narrated by Sampath Nandi.

A whopping budget of Rs. 45 crore has gone into the making of this film. The highlights of the film – Ram Charan’s characterization, Rs 2 crore fight sequence shot in the Bamboo Forest in China, Gang Leader remix song ‘Vaana Vaana Velluvaye’, Charan’s dance moves and Tamanna’s glamour. While the Telugu and Malayalam versions are planned to hit the screens on April 5th, the Tamil version will be released on April 6th.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar did the unthinkable recently when he scored the hundredth hundred and gave more adrenaline to his fans when he mentioned that he has a long way to go before he retires from cricket. Now, it is heard that Sachin might be seen in a completely different role.

The only hope for woman fans of Tollywood is Prabhas, who suits this category of ‘Sobhan Babu’ excellently.

With stunning physique and charming smile, Prabhas wooed girls with movies like ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr.Perfect’. Let us see if he uses this golden opportunity or opts for mass-films.
