When it comes to Andhra Pradesh, the impact and influence of cinema stars is very high among the masses. That’s why there are many times when film stars are used for brand endorsements and promoting government projects. Not stopping at that, they are now being used for politics too.
Well, the nexus between entertainment industry and politics is also strong. And given the history of MGR, NTR, Jayalalitha becoming Chief Ministers, it would not be a surprise to see the new age heroes becoming leaders of the state. The focus right now is on two stars- young tiger NTR and mega powerstar Ram Charan.
Apparently, both were seen canvassing for their respective political parties during the 2009 elections. But now it is heard that the duo has decided to stay away from politics and elections which would mean they would be absent from 2014 campaigning. This would give a strong dent to both TDP and Congress if it is true.
